National Webcheck Fingerprinting
WebCheck is an Internet-based program for civilian fingerprinting background checks against the states Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification Service (IAFIS) and the FBI.
The program reduces the return rate from 4-6 weeks to as little as 48 hours. Since 1993, the Ohio General Assembly passed several state laws, requiring background checks. This is a live scanning technique in processing accurate fingerprinting background checks in a timely manner.
Ohio Pre-Employment Services (under the name Mobile Fingerprinting Solutions) offers Live Scan / National WebCheck fingerprinting hardware to capture and submit electronic fingerprinting data to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation (BCI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Our system captures and submits electronic fingerprint scans, demographic information, and verifies the data with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s WebCheck system.
The process for electronic fingerprinting uses state-of-the-art equipment; the process is virtually error-free, avoiding smudged readings and/or delivery errors often associated with the ink processing method.
